NEW SOLID
  CONSERVATORY ROOF

Thinking about a new solid
  conservatory roof?

  Would
  you
  like
  to
  be
  able
  to
  use
  your
  conservatory
  all
year round instead of a couple of months a year?
  For
  most
  people
  a
  conservatory
  was
  a
  great
  idea
  and
  a
  cheaper
  option
  compared
  to
  building
  an
  extension.
  The
  problem
  is,
  they
  can
  become
  unbearably
  COLD
  during
  the
  winter
  months
  and
  extremely
  HOT
  during
  the
  summer months.
  The
  great
  news
  is…..
  for
  a
  very
  reasonable
  price
  you
  can
  now
  transform
  a
  tired
  old
  looking
  conservatory
  into
  a
  room
  you
  and
  your
  family
  can
  use
  all
  year
  round.
  By
  simply
  replacing
  the
  roof
  with
  a
  lightweight
  roof
  system
  and
  insulating
  it
  so
  it
  is
  warm
  over
  the
  winter
  months
  and
  cool
  over
  the
  summer
  months,
  you
  get
  a
  room
  that
  is usable all year round.

WHY INSTALL A SOLID ROOF ON
  CONSERVATORY

REMOVE OLD
  CONSERVATORY ROOF

  POLYCARBONATE
  ROOF

  Great
  for
  summer
  until
  it
  becomes
  too
  hot
  inside
  and
  almost
  unusable
  over
  winter
  months
  as
  the
  roof
  has
  no
  thermal
  insulating
  properties,
  the
  conservatory
  is
  as
  cold
  as
  the
  air
  outside!
  Very
  noisy
  when
  it
  rains
  which
  in
  England
  is
  most
  of
  the
  time.
  In
  short
  a
  usually
  expensive
  investment
  that
  isn’t
  used
  as
  intended
  becomes
  neglected
  for
  long
  periods
  of
  time
  or
becomes a store room at best.

NEW SOLID
  CONSERVATORY ROOF

  LIGHTWEIGHT
  CONSERVATORY ROOF TILE

  GREAT
  for
  summer
  and
  GREAT
  for
  winter.
  You
  are
  able
  to
  use
  the
  room
  all
  year
  round
  thanks
  to
  having
  a
  fully
  insulated
  conservatory
  roof
  that
  not
  only
  stays
  cool
  during
  summer
  but
  retains
  the
  heat
  during
  the
  winter
  months.
  The
  added
  value
  being,
  that
  when
  it
  rains
  the
  noise
  level
  is
  negligable.
  The
  room
  becomes
  the
  extension
  it
  was
  intended
  to
  be
  and
  in
  most
  cases,
  as
  we
  have
  found,
  the
  main
  family
  room
  and
  living
  space
  as
  it
  usually
  looks
  out
  over
  a
  garden.
  If
  you
  are
  worried
  about
  losing
  light
  we
  can
  also
  add
  roof
  lights
  from
  manufacturers such as Velux.

HOW MUCH DOES A NEW
  CONSERVATORY ROOF
  COST?

Many people ask what the cost of a new solid
conservatory roof will be as they are just thinking about it?
As you may appreciate, every roof we build is custom
made and as such we can only give an estimate once we
have measured and run through some of the options.
Some of the factors to consider are:
  •

Size and complexity of the new solid conservatory roof.
  •

Is the existing roof frame strong enough to re use or
will we have to re cut a new roof frame.
  •

Are your exisiting window frames and structure strong
enough to support the new solid conservatory roof?
  •

Do you require any new frames, has any of your
consevatory glass blown and would you like to change
any openings or doors to bi folds, for example?
  •

Do you require any additional lighting for night time?
  •

Would you like any roof lights installing?
As you can appreciate the list can be extensive and every
roof and room can be ‘TAILOR MADE’ to your
requirements. After a consultation with us, you may realise
and be shocked what we can achieve for you and your
  home.
The best route is for you to get in touch, invite us round so

NEW CONSERVATORY ROOF
  QUESTIONS

DOES A NEW
  CONSERVATORY ROOF
  NEED PLANNING
  PERMISSION?

Most conservatorys will not need planning permission if
they meet certain conditions already. In order to be
classed as a conservatory and not an extension: it will
have to be separated from the main house with external
walls and/ or windows and doors that meet building
requirements. If it has heating it will have to have an
independant system to your home with separate on/off
and temperature controls to the main home heating
system. The overall size is less than 30 square meters. If
in doubt always consult your local planning office using
  the link here planningportal

WHICH CONSERVATORY
  ROOF SYSTEM IS THE
  BEST?

We deal with many different manufacturers nationwide
and as such we can source most roof tiles and systems
available on the market at very competitive rates which
enables us to keep our costs to you as low as possible.
If in any doubt ask us for advise and to look at some
examples of our workso you can gain a better
understanding of what may suit your home. Also to
remember is that although we may be changing your
roof, you will use the room more afterwards so ask
about different lighting, roof lights and any decoration
needs as we can incorporate all of these into the build.
